Marina White has treated me for a damaged shoulder injury from a fall. I have found her to be an exceptionally positive and encouraging therapist who is careful to listen to you to determine the exact nature of what you are feeling and where. She follows through with therapies to reduce the pain and hasten healing in her office and sends you home with appropriate exercises complete with access to videos to make sure you are doing them correctly…after having demonstrated them first with you in her office. Then she follows up with queries about your progress.  She is warmly friendly, has a knack for making you feel comfortable and is knowledgeable about what is going on in your body that needs treatment…the where and the why.  I have no hesitation about recommending her services to anyone in need.

After a full year postpartum I was in need of a therapist who could help me step up my workouts, give me the motivation I needed and hit my goal. I’ve worked with Marina twice a week for the past 6 months at my home, and it truly has been the best experience. I knew it would be hard at first being out of shape after my first baby, but Marina is always encouraging and gives me the push I need. I’ve worked with many people over the past 10 years and what I love most about working with Marina is that she always has an awesome program set out for our session, and she doesn’t have me doing standard exercises. She’s always creative with the equipment we use or how we complete an exercise. I love that because I’m continuously working ALL parts of my body and not just one muscle group. By the end of a session I’m exhausted and feeling amazing, the next day the burn is the best part 🙂 Besides Marina being the ‘trainer’ she is also very friendly, has a wonderful personality and is so easy to get along with. I am an avid paddler; I had ramped up my strength training and developed what I thought was tennis elbow. This pain limited my ability to improve my overhead lifts and push ups for a year. I decided I needed to search for professional help; I’m so glad I found Marina as she identified issues with shoulder mobility that were causing me pain and limiting my training. She provided specific exercises that have increased my shoulder mobility. She also reviewed my form to be sure I’m lifting properly. I’m now able to lift more with confidence and no pain. Ok so I have been an athlete all my life. I have run and raced at a high level, done ultra marathons and ironman … So to trip WALKING and injure my knee tearing the meniscus and ACL within the joint is just plain bad luck.

However, Marina has been a godsend. Marina assessed the injury while it was very acute … 22hrs after the accident. Along with rehab of the joint at a speed to be determined by my discomfort level. She listened and offered great feedback. As an (RMT no longer practising) and an ageing athlete 53 now I feel that without her I would not be as far along as I am.

I will use them for prehab ( to help keep my muscles fit and stretched out before surgery) and postoperative care as I fight my way back to fit and running.

I found Marina when I was looking for a therapist to help me with knee pain while skiing. After a full body assessment, she gave me a training plan, it was spot-on and it eliminated my problems!

I continued to have AT sessions with her, and even though she kicked my butt she’s incredibly friendly and really cares about you as a person, and makes the effort to get to know you more. Her knowledge seems inexhaustible, and she’ll answer all your questions – no matter how obscure! Every workout is different, and always challenging.
